Deacon - you know my preference for fleece, and I would never try to
convert you! But I will tell you that I have had good luck with a number of
Seirus products. They seem to understand us nose open to the air people.
Even their multi-layer balaclava lets me lift the lower panel to vent. Take
a look at some of their products. My "very cold weather with wind" headgear
is usually a wool buff with a multi-layer fleece balaclava topped off with
a wind resistant parka hood. I have a backup tight fitting light weight
Capilene balaclava in my bag. Enjoy the frost - it is good to see your name
