Hi all,

I'm posting to see if there is interest in purchasing my 58 cm
Hunqapillar. I've loved many things about this bike including upright
sitting posture and the dyno hub but I've hit the point where I haven't
been riding the Hunq that much and I'm thinking it might fit in to a good
home somewhere else. I've tried to show it the sights, including rides
through wine country in Napa Valley, maybe you can continue the tradition?
I spec-ed it to be great as a commuter but also work well for over night
trips (hence the usb port with the Luxos-U dyno hub). If that sounds like
what you want, then this bike might be just for you.

Please email for pics as google groups is giving an error when I attempt to
include images.

About the bike: Purchased and assembled by Rivendell Bicycle Works (I have
the original invoice), we collaboratively spec-ed this bike with a
Rich-built wheel set that includes a dyno Sun-28 hub and luxos-U dyno
headlight. It's the standard build kit with some swapped out items, see
itemized list below.

The bike is in good condition. What this means:

1) The frame is in great condition and the bike has received regular
commuter use. All components are the same as when purchased, it still has
the original brake pads even!
2) The paint is prone to accumulating little blemishes and there are a
number of little scratches and flecks of missing paint on this frame.
3) One of the two welds that attach the kickstand plate broke. It broke as
I helped my friend with a bike move as I was hauling a trailer of their
personal items. It's repairable (by Rivendell or your local welder) but
would mess up the paint. Of course, if you don't use a kickstand or don't
use the double legged kickstand then it wouldn't really matter.

I'm asking $2600+shipping for the complete bike including Brooks saddle and
front/rear racks. I would be willing to sell it without the saddle and
racks for $2350. It's currently housed in Boulder CO but I will be driving
to Los Angeles for Christmas and could bring it along for in person
delivery. Let me know your interest, I might be willing to part it out if
someone wanted only the wheels or just the frame. If you don't think the
price is fair, I'd be open to hearing an alternative fair price and
reasoning.
