Sorry to hear about your crash, hope you heal quickly.
It may be a longshot, but I think it could be worth putting up a sign at the 
crash site. Someone may have simply picked up the bike because it appeared 
abandoned. A sign saying "missing bike" in big letters, along with a simple 
description and contact info (+ small reward?) might get noticed. I say this 
because a friend found a nice racing bike apparently abandoned near her house. 
She took it from there just so it wouldn't get stolen. In her case, she left a 
sign saying all of that. Worth a try, maybe.
