I am fortunate to be friends with JB, so when he painted my Riv, I just asked him what he thought would look good on a Riv my size (52). I thought that some colors would look better on one size vs another.
He picked Sovereign Blue, and it's very nice. I also let him pick the color when he painted my (now sold) Bruce Gordon. I figured his eyes are better than mine. He also told me ALL bikes look great after being built up, regardless of the color. Good point!
