I'll wait until next year -- perhaps post Christmas sales? -- but for now I've splurged more than I should have on other things. But my nice cotton Ts, which serve as non-cycling base layers in winter (under wool, of course) and as top layers in hot weather are fraying and wearing thin after 10 years or so, and since I've found wool so useful summer and winter for cycling tops, I thought that wool might be useful for non-cycling tops as well. My brother seems to live in lightweight wool Ts. (I've got a full wardrobe of ss and ls wool cycling jerseys, and wear them on all but the hottest summer days.)
