If it clicks, it has a power ratchet. The ratcheting mechanism in the originals is the same as the original bar-ends, which is to say that the Silver 2 shifters will have a more refined ratcheting mechanism than the original Suntour shifters. I can't remember off the top of my head, but there might have a later Suntour thumbshifter version that had the mechanism in it as the Suntour Sprint dt shifters. Who's a Suntour expert around here?
