I have mondial 40s on my Hillborne right now. They are solid all around tires but they are kind of like a swiss army knife... decent to good at a lot of things but not great at anything. Seemed like a good idea for mixed terrain and they do handle it pretty well. They're very durable but I've found them to be a bit lifeless (IMHO). Enjoy your inaugural voyage.
