I have a Giro Aspect and Giro Reverb - the former looks to have an
exorbitant list price of $175 but I'm positive I didn't pay that much, my
recollection is that my price was similar to the price of the Reverb, which
was $60.

I like these helmets because they don't have a super-racy profile, they fit
my medium-large head nicely, and they have a detachable soft brim that
looks like you have a short brim cycling cap on underneath. I can't wear
those caps for most of the year - too hot, but I appreciate the brim for
the bit of shade it gives my eyes. The Reverb is ventilated, but not too
much, so it's more of my winter helmet now, while the Aspect has a bit more
ventilation.
