David: The Marathon Supremes that are sized 40 mm / 42 mm / 1-5/8" (take your pick) measure 40 mm on my A 719 rims at around 60 psi. The weigh 490 gr.
If you want to try them I have a pair of folding Mondials (760 gr) in 45 /47 /1-3/4". Don't recall if I measured them when I had them on the Atlantis. I think I ran them at around 50 psi at Strada Rossa & West Point. I like 'em off road but the Supremes are more comfy. Maybe 50 mm Supremes? I think there was a "FS" post either here or iBOB for a pair. Could be kinda neat on a tandem, if they'll fit. Curtis uses them & could give you an actual width measurement. dougP On Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 3:14:46 PM UTC-7, [email protected] wrote: > > Hi all, I'm wondering if there are any tires slightly larger than the > Little Big Bens I'm using now. These are for a tandem, so need to handle 80-85psi and a 400lbs > weight FWIW. > Thanks! > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
