I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/Fender-Frontman-Electric-Guitar-Amplifier/dp/B0002KZQ34
It sounds pretty nice with an acoustic guitar plugged into it! I like it a lot. I'd recommend this one (10" speaker) or bigger. All the Fender amps are good and you can't go too far wrong. Check Craigslist and Guitar Center. No need to spend more than $150 for a beginner. It's great she has a Martin - I have one too and it's a fantastic guitar. m On Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:57:23 PM UTC-4, Patrick Moore wrote: > > I know I must keep the OT questions to a minimum, but I also know that > there are enough guitar aficionados onlist that this request may be only a > very venial sin. > > My daughter has been learning folk and rock guitar for about a year now, > and I was lucky to find a used Martin (she says it's a "triple 0"?) for a > very good price.
