I've had this happen with my Clementine. I think the longer chain might make it more of an issue, too. I did not know about the extra strong double pawl set in the Silver rear hubs. I just don't backpedal on that bike any more. Also switching from the stock Sunrace thumbs to a stem shifter seemed to help, but that may have just coincided with my behavior change. It seems weird to get a more complicated derailleur to solve the problem of a more complicated hub. Well, I guess not weird, come to think of it, par for the course.
