We completed the 35 mile route. Due to the heat, we started at 7am and were finished by 11am. Even so, the heat and humidity had set in! It was definitely a beautiful route with little traffic. I am hoping to ride this again next year. I saw no other Rivendells or fendered bikes: but there were many friendly cyclists.
