I've got three bikes and a rack that need to go to the powdercoaters, but I keep putting it off.

A crappy bike in your favorite color is still a crappy bike. A fantastic bike in your least favorite 'colorway' is still a fantastic bike. If your color-bias is so out-of-whack that the color prevents you from enjoying what is good about a bike, then that's unfortunate.
