I used mks steel medium deep toeclips -no straps on my MKS touring pedals for a while.
But I like riding without the clips better. Since 2013 I have done all my riding on just the bare MKS touring pedals -no clips or straps. Just free. I have done centuries and one 200k brevet with just the touring pedals. Best riding of my life. So nice to ride free. On and off the bike is a breeze.
