Michael: please report on the Compass knickers. I'm interested in a pair,
but I wonder if they'll be too light for cold weather use. I do wear tights
when the temperatures get below freezing, but I prefer dealing with just a
single layer in cool but over-freezing temps.

Let us know how the material is, and whether you think it would work over
boxers on a 40*F morning. (All other Compass knicker users, chime in, too.)

The inexpensive Rock Bros cycling pants I bought on Amazon last winter are
quite thin, but good enough *seul* down to the upper 30s. If the Compass
material is at least as thick, it would be viable for my uses.

Thanks, Patrick
