Erl, I found my conservationist in the group the other day.  
I turn over rocks to show kids what their fish will be eating in the river.

most of the kids pay absolutely no attention to it and are completely 
consumed by the wetness...

But one young man yesterday began turning over every rock he could find and 
reported to me the size and color of the caddis worms he found
