Today I remounted my Pari-Moto tires onto a Synergy rim and was again
reminded how hard it is to get the tire correctly centered on these rims.
I have read that a double layer of rim tape helps. Has anyone actually
tried this.... what did you learn? Also, if that fails, has anyone here
tried the SOMA Weymouth 650b rim?

I recently mounted the compass Slumgullion tire, equally flexible to the
pari-moto, on a DaVinci 26" rim for the tandem, so I know that it doesn't
have to be this challenging. Fo cryin out loud people have been making
rims for more than 100 years now, there's no reason to do it wrong.
