Having owned several mixtes and a Clementine, and having ridden the bike
you show here at my local shop, I can tell you the Clementine is virtually
the same mounting motion. Visually, the bike you link to has a massive
chaincase and slightly thinner tubes, whereas the Clementine has a small
crankset. The Dutch bike also likely has a seat post in the 60s somewhere
and a giant head tube. All this creates the illusion of a lower step
through. I also wonder what the bb drop is compared to Clems. That said,
there are of course bikes that go lower than the Clementine, though at some
point, especially with larger sizes, it is possible that type of design
could impact handling/performance.
