Kieran, the bag is only attached on the bars and the tombstone. I used a longer strap on the tombstone that intertwines with the rack, preventing it from lifting off the tombstone if I hit a big bump. That really helped stabilize the bag overall.
Because the bar height is almost the exact height of the bag, I don't need anything on the bottom to prevent it from sagging. There really isn't a way to sag, given it's bar mounting up top. In fact, most of the weight in the bag here is in the side pockets, but you can see it isn't sagging at all.
