I was skeptical when I saw your original post Bill, but then went to the 
site and saw the pix and read the FAQ.  I agree,this is cool for folks who 
want clipless and the shoes of their choice.  I've never tried SPD, only 
Look road (which of course are barely walkable), but I assume that these 
would walk a bit better than standard SPD shoes, depending on the sole 
thickness.  They don't say anything about the comfort level when walking or 
riding.  Again, would depend on shoe and insole.  Nice to know in case I 
decide to build up the road bike and go clipless again.
