Nice bike! I'd keep it. I have the same scruples every so often about my '99 gofast, also lacking (by request and by design) any braze ons whatsoever except for dt bottle cage bosses. But then I get on and ride it and my doubts cease. And, btw, having 28 mm (actual) 559 bsd Elk Passes on it instead of the 571 Pro Races make it all the more lovable: these are even faster than the fast Michelins and, heck, I can even ride it now on firmish dirt, and have, in fact, swapped out the Keos for SPD clones in order to do so.
