Putting together my wife's Joe and came across a little snag. The
chainstays are super long, cool, but a standard 114 link chain is too short
for a triple. Called Rivendell and they said they have a bulk roll of chain
that they use to put the bikes together. So, keep that in mind when you
have to replace your chains in the future. Does anyone know of a super long
8 speed chain out there? For now I am cobbling together one chain from two
different chains (hope the wife doesn't mind that they are two different
colors!) I guess buying two of the same chain and taking links from one
every time I change it would work for quite a while.
