I don't want to be too critical here, Bill, or wander off topic, but the 
point on your pencil is...sub-optimal, to put it politely. We have a guy 
here in town that specializes in this, might be worth a look. You are just 
a bit south of us.

When you say the mech locked up, do you mean it came to a complete and 
final halt, or it temporarily froze up and then released, only to do it 
again intermittently? Also, does anyone know if these are the same hubs 
that came stock on the Clems as well?
