Congratulations on the strong recovery!

FWIW, and noting I am not a Chica Warrior, my wife could never get 
comfortable on traditional saddles.  They caused discomfort in "sensitive 
areas" etc...
I bought her a Spiderflex saddle to try.

She loves it and swears it is the only saddle that has allowed her to ride 
pain free.  Being hornless there are trade-offs: she has less control with 
her inner thighs and has to guide/steer the bike more with her arms, it 
puts a bit more weight on her arms/hands, and it looks unconventional. 
 She, however, doesn't care as it allows her to ride relatively pain free 
and any saddle soreness occurs on the back of her thighs where she doesn't 
mind putting up with it until the skin toughens up each spring.  She rides 
in an upright position using albatross bars.

I believe the company is Canadian and might have a greater retail presence 
in Vancouver than they do in the USA.
