Get the Chris King. Yes, they're expensive. They also look really good, are wonderfully smooth, and seem to be set it and forget it. The Bombadil deserves it.I have these on both rivendells and last spring I took the 1" King I was hoarding and had it installed on my X0-1. ...if you have nice parts, may as well use 'em up. I had mine installed...I'm not mechanical...my partner is...but I think it takes care and the proper tools to have these installed
Honestly, I've had a few Tange headsets,2 Falcons which were pretty good...and the roller-ball one Riv used to instal as a standard...that one I wasn't too impressed with...it didn't seem to be easy to take and hold an adjustment If you like the dura-ace that would be a nice option too Regards, post pictures and enjoy the new bike Ryan Winnipeg,MB On Dec 5, 11:18 am, Rene Sterental <[email protected]> wrote: > Keven e-mailed me yesterday to let me know that my Bombadil frame has > arrived and is waiting for me. My options are to wait, choose a DuraAce headset (same as I have on the > Homer) or choose a Chris King headset. The standard Tange is also an option. > > Any suggestions on the headset? > > I'll be posting photos when I pick it up and build it! > > René -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
