Maybe it doesn't matter to you, or maybe you've overlooked it.  My 
apologies in advance if it was deliberate, but most people on this small 
family of boards are pretty persnickety about crank arm length.  If you 
care what crank arm length you are looking for, you should probably tell 
your prospective seller what that desired crank arm length is.  

My standard approach is to look for 94bcd arms.  The Sugino/Ritchey 
offerings and the Sugino Mighty 900 are my favorite two.  Those were made 
in 172.5, so I keep my eyes open for them all the time and buy them when I 
find them cheap, whether I need them or not.  

I have also had success setting up a half-step triple as a compact double. 
 Buy a 52/46/30, shave the teeth off the 52, and you've got a sweet 
chainguard/46/30.  Those are often gettable in good 1980s quality for 
really cheap.  The last two of those I found were Sugino AT (which 
unfortunately needs a really long BB spindle).
