NITTO stems that are shaped like a backwards number seven (Technomics, Talluxes, and Pearls, etc.) are measured like this:
1. Lay stem on its side on a table. 2. Measure from center of quill (on the vertical quill shaft from the point where the stem bolt passes through the vertical quill) to the center of bar clamp (empty space). You are running your cm measuring tape along the side of the extension from center of vertical quill to the center of the clamp hole. DO NOT measure from center of stem bolt head along the top of the stem extension to top of clamp (metal there). That will not be correct. Measure along the side of the stem.
