Hello, I have a new silver Tubus rack that I bought for a vintage, Riv-inspired commuter, not realizing that Tubus carriers are designed for modern dropout spacings of 130 OLN or greater.
The minimalist Vega Evo rack offers generous clearances for 65 mm wide fenders or 60 mm tires (designed to fit 26" to 700c frames) and an exceptional carrying capacity (55 pounds) for a rack that weighs about 560 grams. I'm one of many, no doubt, who foolishly thought he had more time to buy a pair of these rims when Pacenti was closing them out at $40/rim.
