6.1(a) and 6.1(c) might be hard for many Rivendell owners to meet, that being, downtube shifters required and brake cables that go over the handlebars. I don't recall Rivendell selling brake levers with the traditional out-the-top cable arrangement in recent years.
But otherwise, it sounds like an awesome event.
