My son grew up riding and even racing on steel frames, but wont go near one now. He says they build airplanes out of Al. and CF, so that's strong enough for him. At some point it may dawn on him that it makes little difference whether it takes him 30 or 32 minutes to get up a mountain, but he's not there yet.
