It has been a while since I have posted as I have not ridden in a very long
time (until this past week!).

I did receive my wrecked SO back from the police this week. Spent an
afternoon removing the parts from the frame and seeing what is what.
Remarkably, most of the parts are in excellent shape. In fact besides the
frame itself (which I don't know how will end up), the only parts I will
not be able to reuse are the rear rim and spokes and the rear fender (I was
hit from the rear and the wheel essentially disintegrated) and maybe the
handlebars which are aluminum and I may decide not to trust anymore. What
is really remarkable to me and I am very proud to say, is that the front
dynamo wheel that I built when I acquired the frame several years back, is
as true as the day I took it off the truing stand the day I built it.

I am so happy that I am riding again, though it may be some time before I
get the freedom to ride as I used to do.
