The bag is just a nice size for daily use. It looks utilitarian without being overly so. If you haven't seen any of the Sackville bags the quality is really impressive. It isn't frilly over the top niceness but well made built to last niceness.
That said, I purchased mine when they were first introduced and shortly before the arrival of our first daughter. With full time dad duty (an unbelievable honor and privilege for which I am eternally grateful) it doesn't get used much. If it could talk it would say "Please take me out for a day on the town like you used to do!". So if you are at all interested in trying it, please feel free.
