Man, the Rivendell Readers are just terrific to read- there are so
many good things to say, between RR and Bicycle Quarterly. I find
many of the stories to be outright inspiring, I can't really pick a
favorite one. However, many of the stories/features stand out as
favorites. For instance:

-Scott Cutshall's story of transformation and triumph in RR41.

-Bob Brophy's story of his ski accident and triumph over injury, and
of the resilience of his steel bicycle frame when crashed in RR34.

-Also, the interview with Charlie Cunningham in RR27 was great (there
was an interview with Jaquie Phelan in Bicycle Quarterly that was
really interesting too).

-The Robert Bailey story and update in RR39 and RR41. RR41 is
pretty great too because it's long, in full color, and introduces the
Bombadil.

Bike-specific content:
-RR38- it has Spencer Chan's Rivendell bike check, (which is my
favorite since it shows a bike with many stories to tell). If the RR
were looked at as an advertising medium for Rivendell bikes, I think
Spencer Chan's bike is its finest ad.
