I run the extra light version of the Barlow Pass on my Sam mounted on Grand Bois rims. One puncture early on due to a glass shard and several due to goat heads. Now running Mr. Tuffy's liners with no discernible impact on the ride quality. Have survived half a dozen goat heads at one time in each tire.
