Thanks, Joe, that's very helpful. The brake hoods (I'd use road levers placed on the forward curve) should give me 2 or 3 more inches, so just right. I shouldn't need that extension.
We'll see. I've been spending hand over foot or head over heels or ass over teakettle this month, and I need to stop for a while.
