I ride up all sorts of short steep hills over hill and dale in Crocs for goodness sakes . . .. which are essentially foam . Crocs slides even, not the clog style with the strap on back. . Bacǩ when I thought I was some-body with some-thing to prove, I had to have clipless. Now being no-body there is no-thing to prove to any-body .
