Clayton, I have Woody's fenders on my Atlantis: https://flic.kr/p/pm33zP They've been on for 2.5 years. I have never waxed them; they have held up great, but then so have all my SKS and planet bike fenders. Pros and cons of wood fenders have been well covered here already. I will just add that nothing on my bikes draws more positive commentary than the wood fenders. You will not ride inconspicuously. All the best, Erl
