I've recently become interested in the Thunder Burts. How do they do on the pavement, compared to other tires you ridden? I've got a Surly Karate Monkey so now I can go as fat as I care to! I'm running 40mm Duremes right now but want to jump to 50-60mm tires but I want a true 50+mm tire that is relatively lightweight but with decent puncture protection. Big Apples/Bens are too heavy.
