I picked up one of these from a list member and just wanted to know what the history behind this was. I've read these were sold by Rivendell, then looks like they were discontinued altogether, though that's about all the info I could find. The up angle certainly is extreme to me for a saddlebag support. Were these mainly to keep a bag from rubbing on the rear tire? Maybe these were featured in a Riv Reader at some point? I may have a rainy day project of changing the bend to a more horizontal angle. David Chicago
