Dareck, I've been waiting to hear of someone putting the nut on the INSIDE of the rim. Makes sense to me, but I wasn't sure. On closer examination, I can tell my valve hole is a bit wider than the usual so there is more wiggle room. I redid the rim tape and cleaned everything up. Might try the nut on the inside so the valve stem base does not get into the hole.
