Last thing I recall was that the entire MUSA program was being reconsidered. That was earlier in the summer I think. But as far as I can tell only the pants and non-black knickers have become unavailable since. So I'm hopeful that what sounded "dire" earlier was my misreading the signals and in fact the absence of pants and/or knickers has been a seasonal thing.
However, if/when the pants come back it would not surprise me if they are only in black and/or cost >$100. Neither would be great but both would be understandable IMHO.
