One of my all-time favoites is "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" by Robert Pirsig (read 4 times). Also recently really enjoyed "Super, Sad, True Love Story" by Gary Shteyngart. A funny and horrifying vision of the future. Seems extreme but, given the political and technological trends going on... not as far fetched as you would hope. His writing was outstanding. As much as I want to like Dave Eggers, "SSTLS" was way better than "The Circle" (IMO).
