thanks for the heads up on the Gore helmet cover.  We rarely get the kind 
of soaking rain most people think of as showers.  We mostly get flash 
monsoons that don't last long but can put down 5-10"/hr.  You get caught in 
one and the worst thing about it is the runoff from your helmet vents 
flooding your eyes.  Carrying an emergency helmet cover sounds like a great 
idea, and I found one online for $35.
