Lungimsam, In my recent experience (n=6, including B17s & Flyers), Brooks below the Champion Special/Select/Pro level are disposable saddles. The leather gives out in a year of hard riding. You can lace/tension/reform, but it'll never be as nice as the models with better leather. That said, report back if you find a way to revive it!
