I too like the MUSA pants for tours. I took them on my last tour,
Eugene Oregon to San Jose CA by way of the Pacific Coast, in late
September/early October. On cool mornings I would wear them over my
shorts, taking them off as the day warmed up. In the evening, I'd wear
them around the campground. One night the temperature dipped down to
the 30's, brr. I was happy that my wool longies (which I wear for PJs)
fit comfortably under the MUSA pants that chilly morning.
