My hubs arrived yesterday. They look at least as good "in person" as in the photos. The alloy vs steel question has already been answered. I plan to take the recommended precautions, but that is not a deal-breaker for me. I hope that issue does not make them go away. As others have said, if Rivendell sells them I am willing to use them. I could not resist dismantling them part way before passing them on to the wheel builder. One thing I learned is that you need at least one 10 mm. hex wrench in addition to the two fives. David
