Rode through the same intersection this morning - entered the "downtown" 
block in the middle of the lane - easily being pushed 15 mph by the 
prevailing tailwind.  
The car behind  me was well behind me and not moving up. The guy sitting at 
the blind twisted live oak tee properly gave me right of way.  
I cleared approaching traffic and zinged my left turn without anyone being 
delayed or threatened.  
But even couldn't have done this right without the mirror...
