I've only ridden a BF, but I can answer the bus/office question: get the Brompton. Bike Fridays are primarily bicycles which ride nice, and can be folded/broken-down for travel; it's not particularly compact, and you wouldn't want to do it in a hurry as the bus is showing up. Brompton folds fast and compact, and if this is your primary need for a folder, 20-inch-wheel BF's can't touch them.
