Pulled it out of the box but haven't even unwrapped it yet. It's 
different box than my previous NOS 54 Ram came in.  This box has large 
"Rambouillet" across the side panels, and Rivendell Rambouillet, 
Oakland, Made in Japan on the end panels.  I will be registering the s/n 
with Riv HQ, and will be sure to ask about the Alex connection. Not worried 
though, I know what a Ram looks like, this is the real deal.  Aren't Alex's 
Cycles and Toyo both in Osaka, Japan?  If you read the Alex story, 
originally they had a store front, so, maybe it's how they got there?.

Not sure about the quote above, but if it's in reference to my original 54 
Rambouillet, mine went to the east coast ~ Oct/Nov 2014...........
