That's wonderful to hear, GAJett! I used to fly fish, but the complexity of it has been a barrier since my bludgeoned brain got in the way. The set up arrives tomorrow and I look forward to experiencing how simple fishing can be with just a rod and line and fly. My plan, like you, is to lash the rod to my top tube with Irish straps.
